Portsmouth FC squad salary List 2015 – Largest fan-owned football club

Check out Portsmouth F.C squad salaries here. First I want to talk about little financial crises history. During 2009-2010, club was turned into an administration. To avoid it from liquidation from individual ownership when more than couple of million euros debt was reported by Guardian.

A penalty of 9 points was imposed on the club because they turned into an administration because of financial problems. Club was denied a license to compete in European Competitions despite becoming finalists of The FA Cup. 1.6 million euros unpaid taxes were on the club side in the end of January 2012 as Dailymail reported.

Second time, club was changed into an administration because of worse financial crises on 17th February 2012 resulting in automatic 10-points reduction. On 19th April 2013, club came out from administration as Pompey Supporters Club Trust bought the club for an undisclosed fee. You already know they are not a big team like ManU, Real Madrid or Liverpool. SO they can’t spend big budgets like them.

They also known as Pompey, is an English football club which was founded 116 years ago, 5th April 1898 by John Brickwood. Club was the winners of top-tier England competition, Football league, twice. 3 FA Cups and 1 FA Community Shield is currently present in major titles section of this club.

Club is largest fan-owned football club in the entire England as Pompey Supporters Club Trust is currently having the possession of the club and home ground Fratton Park, a ground with capacity of 21,178 spectators.

It is a small club with very limited financial support. Club is a low-table team which can give upsets at any time but still not a club to fear about at all. Sad to say this!
